Stanford Seed, is seeking high-potential CEOs/founders based in Sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia who are motivated to significantly grow their businesses.
The Seed Transformation Program (STP) combines in-person and online sessions in a deeply-concentrated learning experience for established companies. The STP is designed for business owners and their senior management team and is led by Stanford Graduate School of Business faculty and supported by Stanford-trained advisors and experts.
It’s about more than sharpening your skills; Stanford’s world-renowned team works with you and your team over an 11-month period (and beyond) to transform and elevate essential aspects of your business.

PROGRAM DATES:
15 January to 30 November, 2023
APPLICATION DEADLINE:
15 June, 2022
PROGRAM FEE:
US $6,000*
*The cost of the program has been significantly subsidized through philanthropic contributions. In Botswana, Namibia, and South Africa, the cost of the program has been subsidized by the De Beers Group.
OPEN TO:
CEOs/founders of for-profit companies and market-driven social enterprises. Participants may include their senior managers for virtual components of the program.
REQUIREMENT:
Companies based in Africa and South Asia with annual revenues between US $300,000 and $15 million.
COMMITMENT:
Approximately 5- 8 hours per week for CEO/founder, plus two in-person immersion weeks. 2 – 4 hours per week for team members.
LOCATION:
There will be two, in-person immersion weeks:
Africa: 16-21 January and 19-24 June The immersion weeks for companies in Africa will be held in Nairobi, Kenya, and Accra, Ghana.
South Asia: 15-20 January and 18-23 June The immersion weeks will be held in Chennai, India.
Other program activities will take place online or at your company. All in-person events will be conducted in compliance with local health and safety protocols, including vaccines and testing. The program schedule is subject to change.
